Hi, I’m Jonny, the founder and author of Freelance Beginner.

I started Freelance Beginner around a year into my own freelance journey. By that point, my freelance business had grown into a full-time career, generating over $15,000 per month within my first nine months.

As I spoke to other freelancers, I realised many were facing the same challenges I had at the start. Finding clients, generating leads, and figuring out how to turn freelancing from a side hustle into a sustainable business.

Because my background is in digital marketing, I was fortunate to learn how to generate leads relatively quickly. However, I soon realised that many talented freelancers struggle not because they’re bad at what they do, but because they don’t know how to market themselves effectively.

That’s why I created Freelance Beginner.
